Short notice cancellations

If you need to cancel your appointment, please give at least 24 hours notice in advance of your appointment time so that there is a greater chance that the appointment can be rebooked to another client.  Cancellations at short notice and missed appointments will incur a charge which will be your full appointment fee.

Why is there are charge if I cancel late or don’t turn up?

I am a self employed therapist which means if I don’t work, I don’t get paid.  When an appointment is cancelled at short notice or if a client doesn’t attend, there is still a cost to me.

I prepare my treatment room in advance for your appointment. I also have to arrange care for my baby.

There are times when things happen outside of your control. There may be occasions when a cancellation charge is not appropriate – I am pretty reasonable, so please contact me as soon as possible to discuss.
